Prez parodies strike Net’s fancy – BostonHerald.com

I’m starting to get really sick of hearing about me – but here’s more about me!

A Bay State native’s presidential parodies on YouTube have become a cyber sensation, drawing hundreds of thousands of political junkies desperate for clever political comedy in the midst of the Hollywood writers’ strike.

Rudy Giuliani’s love life, Mitt Romney’s flip-flopping and other controversies surrounding the White House wannabes have provided plenty of fodder for former East Longmeadow resident Lee Stranahan, 42, a graphic artist for a major TV network.

His seven comedic shorts have fetched more than 280,000 hits since he began posting them to the video-sharing Web site less than two weeks ago. Rosie O’Donnell has linked to two of them from her blog.
